Hello and welcome!

I'm doing an experiment on how many degrees of separation there are between an original, individual act of generosity and the last person who directly benefits from such an act. To that end, I have given 10 one dollar bills to a person in downtown San Francisco, each dollar bill having a post-it bearing the URL of this site paperclipped to it. I have requested that the recipient of the $10 share some or all of the money with others. I have also requested that this person share what happens with the $10 and what the experience of receiving/giving was like, and to leave the post-its attached to the bills so others can come to this website and do likewise.

If you have come to this site without having been a recipient of the original $10, I would love to know if you decide to participate in this by giving some of your own money away and posting what happens here and inviting your recipients to come to this site and let us know what they do with the money.
